Epilogue - A burning desire for RP.

Greetings Stormwind Militia! I am a representant and project leader of a new roleplaying project called Epilogue. We want your guild with us!

I am sorry if this is considered some kind of spam to your fine forums, I am merely one of the players who have grown tired of blizzards false promises of enforcing roleplaying policy. A few weeks back we on the realm of "Venture Co" gathered a competent team of gamers who understands the essence of roleplay and what people actually would like to see in-game. A project started called Epilogue, I ask a few minutes of your time to check us out, we are currently trying to spread our message.

What is your goal and features with this project?
Our ultimate goal is to make an extraordinary role-playing experience. The team behind Epilogue consists of experienced gamers who have already done something similar to Epilogue on another platform, Ragnarok Online. The Ragnarok Online project turned out to be some of the most fun we have ever had in a game and we wish to reproduce this as well as improve it.

- Interaction taken to a new level.
Let your actions impact the world and its inhabitants. Anything is possible; if you or a group of people are powerful enough you can conquer Orgrimmar, ransack and burn Stormwind to the ground or dominate the world. Since we have control of the server and your actions dictate the story, there will be no end to the possibilities. We want you to fully interact and immerse yourself in the world.

-Guilds with a niche.
We want guilds to be more than just a tag under your name. We want guilds to differ from one another. An ancient Elven guild with in depth knowledge of magic would have control over certain elementals and artifacts. The same guild that wields magic might have more trouble when it comes to brute force and martial mastery. You will be given custom spells and special abilities that relate to the guild you are a member of.

- Exploring
One aspect of the game which was a large disappointment for us was the lack of places to explore. There are no maps to decipher, no grand treasures waiting to be dug up or found in deep black caves. We will have hidden treasures and hidden custom places that may contain valuable knowledge and riches. To reach these places you will most likely have to find clues about their whereabouts or perhaps - if you are lucky enough - stumble upon one.

- Subclasses
This is still under discussion but there will be some kind of subclasses for you to choose for your character. Two examples that will be included are the Seer and the Explorer. These additional class choices will grant your character some extra powers or items to perhaps make exploring easier or the ability to gain knowledge of events that has yet to happen. More subclasses will be discussed.

Do you have to level?
I don't like leveling.

No, the level system is removed and replaced with a RP token system. The more you RP, the more you can advance your character in certain skills such as Exploring, Dipolomacy or warfare.

Oh that sounds terrific! Hmm, is this server up or is it development? If so, give a shout, would you kindly?

edit: What about the gear and such? What will happen with that?

I would advise placing questions or suggestions in our forums!
the server is still under development, you can however sign up for the closed beta. Gear will be cosmetical for you to look however you want (but still be able to fight)

This sounds really good!

the win contained within that looks amazing...like what blizzard SHOULD have done to RP realms

however to make it successful you will likely need a large player-base and quite a few administrators to keep it going
and possible some form of control on RPing (IE: Powergaming) since blizzard take no action on such things whereas you could
