The Paladins PvP set looks just like the warrior's just that the shoulders have a white band instead of blue i don't really see the problem with it.. tho the sets are really uggly and doesn't look militia to me.... I'd say we stick to Imperial.

But I don't see why you think they're ugly, Alot of people think it looks perfect. As do I personaly, and the reason the Paladin one is different is becuase it's almost twice as shiney.

A uniform for Footman, officers and Commander would work..

But not for initiates, they often dont have a uniform.. and the trial period is to short to supply everyone, since theres lot of recruits to

I for one think this will work brilliantly BUT...
We need to get the opinion of not just those wearing it but those who look at it in both Combat and patrols.
I think we should ask the HoS about what they think the new armour looks like as well as the cult (or just Xari) and also put the uniform on a 'trial' period...let the officers / footmen or whatever strut around GS for a few days and see if we get any feedback (besides the "LOL MILITIA SCUM") from those in the community...

Incidentally I think having each of the ranks ( ) put into their own sort of set uniform...
Also, the commander does sort of have his own uniform, Pilus has the fluffy little whotsit on top of his 'ed which looks rather nifty imo, just like how the romans told their ranks apart

hmm, I don't think I worded that quite right...
What I ment was that the 'bog standard militia' the ones who keep the clock tickin Should be given the same albiet a slightly customised uniform which implies that they are indeed in the SWM but at the same time shows that they serve a different purpose within it.
Slight customisations should be optional (Like Pilus's helm as an example, tho thats his trademark hat ) so that they can add a small amount of variety whilst remaining within the Militia's little 'colour scheme'
One piece I would highly recommend would be the 'jouster's' set (however this has not cropped up on AH much) which not only would distinguish the cavalry apart but also the name sounds suited to those who specialise in mounted combat (Even tho there is no such thing in-game) but as much as I love the armour the Militia provides I must definately agree with the point that as a Militant gets more experienced (Moves from a lower rank to officer or what not) they should in fact become more battle hardened which is why I am now on the prowl for more Militia worthey armour that not only looks good but has the stats required for PVP combat (seeing as how we have HoS and possibly arena to deal with ;D)

Just been muckin' about with model viewer and I must say....I look fu**ing awsome in that armour Pilus mentioned (See avatar )

Every platoon looks different in his own way..

Recruits: Often no uniform hehe
Infrantry: Often swords and shields.. and the lower lvl uniforms
Cavalry: Full uniform and often on horses (doh?)
SWMI: Mostly wearing mask and hoods plus daggers & so equipped

Each platoon must have the same uniforms imo.. they will look different automatically by weaponry, mounts and classes (as I guess the SWMI for example has more rogues and leather uniforms)

I don't think that making the SWMI wear leather and hoods and look all dark and mysterious would be a good idea

Another good diea, Is that The offcers would wear the imperialw hile on patrol ect becuase the uniform I stated for the officers is a bit to combat worthy for average patrols ect. So I say that we only use it when on the battle field ect, and the imerpail plate while around the kingdom patroling ect.

tbh I think you have a point there Cantor...
Although the uniform you stated is more worthey for something such as combat or mission recognition the Militia are far more recognised in out good old imperial armour plate which does seem more suited for patrols...
I still think the officers uniform you suggested would be useful for something like Militia RP battlegrounds or possibly a Militia RP raid on UC which would keep people alive *nudges Gotrick* and generally be able to identify the officers because during that run, the only way I identified Cantor was by the fact he took his helm off (I have names turned off, it makes it more RP to recognise someone by their face imo ) and so if he were to wear something like that blue pvp set it would make him almost instantly recognised by Militia members (I highly doubt that opposing RPers would identify him as an officer, it would likely take them quite a while to catch on to it...especially if Pie-lust won't be wearing it)

Bah.. This was just a FAIL Attempt, I still want it, But I guess I gave into pilus's helm, Whitch I wish I didn't now, I really like the PvP set ALOT more...

Why keep it just for parties? I've always wanted to start my own Dagrenistic Church of the Light. Tuxedo's and Admiral Hats would be perfect religious uniforms!
